Seeking leaders or leadership seems something in common with seeking people to blame, and yet we see it is the system at fault, capitalism.
We can’t blame anyone for something that came about by evolution, capitalism appears to be just that, we’ve been doing it ever since the instinct of animalistic territorialism, posession, and gain, just adding our human intelligence to make ever more creative ways of capitalising on it.
Maybe you would view Bill Gates more favourably if you knew he had been shouting about the problems and warning of the imminent disaster from Pandemic for years, the information of your link there looks highly interpretable by whatever confirmation bias we might have.
Maybe if we could get over blaming people, we would finally see the system solution.
Isn’t it interesting that after each Ponzi is uncovered, we blame someone, the perceived architect of it, jail them, and move on thinking the problem is fixed, never realising that each Ponzi scheme is actually part of an even bigger one?
A basic requirement of a system that does fix everything, is that it will not need any leaders, no-one to blame, it will be completely crowd driven, self regulating, and it will be created by nature, not by any individual, though a few individuals might identify it, point it out, and even create some parts of it, to hasten things along.
It starts by seeing the system problem, and then we might see the system solution, I think.
