See my response to Erin. On efficiency, your 2% figure is way wrong, although efficiency is not great, who cares about efficiency if the input energy is for free, and adds to creation on Earth?

What matters is that use of it does net creaation (Good!), rather than net destruction (Bad!), and use of hydrogen from sunlight does net creation, lots of net creation.
