Scott thanks for posting. As explained a little more in response to one of TEK's responses to you, I see this as symptoms of the greater problem, which is extraction of energy from Earth, which is the root thing physically unsustainable.
We have to just keep chipping at this thing, like you are doing, in hope and trust it will bring forward general realisation soon enough.
Summing things up in movie-like terms; we gotta get busy livin' soon as a species, instead of being so busy dyin', as a species.
