Scott, I am wondering if we had a better armed, more aggressive neighbor come and take control of our house, imprisoning and enslaving us in it, then when we finally tried to fight back, they slaughtered most of our whole family, then all the other neighbors come along and persuaded them to stop the slaughter, leaving us alive, would we then agree to just stay in the same place with that neighbor next door, trusting that they would never come back and do exactly the same thing again, finishing the job next time? Netanyahu cited the Amalek. He made their intention clear.
I doubt very much if the Palestinians and actually all Arab nations now will allow Israel to carry on existing at all, they've completely blown their viability as neighbors to anybody.
Personally I think the Israel project is finished. They've done something that can't be forgiven. They even know it, that is why they don't want to leave a soul alive, they know the retribution will be exactly what they dealt out. It can't be anything else. Neither we nor they can allow genocides full stop. If we do then we are next. They started something that has to be nipped in the bud. I am sorry to say that, but I am just being honest, genocide is like a rot, or a cancer, if it is forgiven it will just spread like any disease. It's the one thing that can't be allowed.
They should submit to the ICC, because at least by that they will receive humane treatment, but if they end up at the mercy of their neighbors, no God can or will halp them, I think.
