Scarcifying it works for now, but in the future, when it moves to represent the energy of the sun, and we learn to monetise that, instead of capital value, we will see continuous money flow to all people as a UBI, devaluing capital, because profit will not be possible any longer, money has to change form, to represent freely flowing energy, instead of energy dug from the planet as capital. This will be the only way to retain any value in money at all, given the economic product is already being created, but not monetised so far.

Bitcoin is a special case as the first form of mechanical monetisation of energy, it stands as a kind of reference, each satoshi actually representing a kind of constant supply of energy. More is here:
