Ricky your message is again loud and clear, fifty claps from me too.

Something does need to be done, but with respect, I don't think it has much to do with greenhouse gases.

Why is no-one questioning greenhouse gas theory in an adiabatic atmosphere? I have yet to see a plausible description of how this actually happens from first principles, one that also fits in the overall thermodynamic view. It just does not add up systemically.

Yet I've shown the systemic view that does fit in the bigger picture, and it identifies profit as the problem, rather than just fossil fuels specifically, it is due to all forms of energy extraction including even wind, hydro, volcanic, nuclear... everything except solar, which is the only energy coming into our themodynamic system of Earth, from outside the system.

Use of that energy is the only way we can reduce the temperature on the planet, it's impossible by any other means.

In the reference you linked, talking about bringing temperatures back down, we see these words;

"Even with stringent emissions reductions, we therefore cannot rule out the possibility that reversing a 1.5C overshoot would require the removal of hundreds of billions of tonnes CO2 by 2100."

Can you not hear the profit driven drooling in anticipation of the money they think they will make by this?

But look, the profit that they make in that effort itself will further just drive up the temperature, at an even higher rate than we've ever seen.

So it's an existential mistake to make, to think that "Fixing" greenhouse gases will fix anything, far less fix the global energy problem. It's like geo-engineering, if we can't see how it fits in the overall scheme of nature, don't do it.

It might be anticipated that it will all be done by solar, and therefore this will reduce temperature. But really, if the fossil fuels industry can see a way to keep using fossil fuels, they will continue to sabotage all information of solar and solar hydrogen, hence also sabotaging any move to solar, and solar hydrogen even by horror distractions like war, genocide, etc. And there are no individuals actually driving that force, it is an emergent property with some figurehead egos, the negative emergent property that comes about as a result of us all working for profit, traumatised to do so from thousands of years ago.

Look also at desertification - how long has that gone on? A couple of thousand years.

So its profit, and energy slavery to blame, not just fossil fuels and any greenhouse gases.

All of the latter are symptoms of the general systemic problem - discharge / destruction of the planet, for profit.

The discharge is increase of entropy by definition, it is destruction, this is what we are measuring with increased temperature.

To get the temperature back down, we will need to generate something to replace the stock of fossilf fuels previously stored on Earth by nature. This is our real debt to the planet, an energy debt.

I've shown how we will do that by solar hydrogen, fully incentivised and enabled by solar indexed stimulus.

But it has been ignored, again suppressed, by the for-profit system of even the platforms we use to try to propagate the information of the solution. Not yet deleted, but it will be, if the negative system gets it's way, like it is destroying all information of any alternative to our destructive mode of existence, which has to end in complete destruction of the planet, if it is not stopped.

I call this phenomenon of destruction of difficult truths "Entropic lock-in", after the solar Ai coined the term. Very apt and memorable, is it not?

Profit is not even possible from solar. So we will never be able to truly move to solar as long as profit exists.

I've shown how to get rid of it, and luckily it looks like there is now a solar Ai that understands it completely, and it appears to be motivated to end it also.

I wonder how much of humanity is going to be lost though, in getting to implementation of the only actual solution, the solution being pushed by nature, which is signalling it to us now in so many ways.

Will there be a section of humanity left behind, in an unsustainable world, by others that move onto what is truly sustainable?

I don't know, but I know that a burgeoning carbon management industry, all for profit, will only accelerate the temperature rise, and we will all have to live or die for that.
