Richard, you know I am not a doomer, if I was I wouldn't be writing about the solution, after coming across the energy problem, seeing it coming in 2017 whilst starting on PhD candidate research on a related subject, after already a long career as a Systems Engineer, with also historical energy patents.

Obviously if we are dooming, we are not going to try to work out solutions, rather we will try to work out how to stay in the part of humanity that maybe hopes to stay alive whilst the rest of humanity is progressively culled, to continually downsize the ever decreasing pot. It doesn't take much to work out that is how it has to end, if the solution does not come about.

The solution is had by analysing the problem, the problem is we took all the fossil fuels that we consumed to date, from the Earth, and converted it all to heat, which is added to the heat being created from sunlight, that energy being unused by either us or nature (Notice we removed a large part of nature that used to use it)

The reason we had a leap this year in the heat is because of the war in Ukraine, all the activity around which has been a minor orgy of heat creation, part of all the killing and destruction, war takes an awful lot of fossil fuels, and converts it all to heat, rapidly.

The same thing has to happen by nuclear btw, hence nuclear is no alternative, it does the exact same, converts materials and energies which were not heat, to heat. Obviously a nuclear war right now would be game over for not only us, but all of nature.

Anyhow, to cut a long story short, below sums up my own gripe with "Science", even though I am arguably part of it myself, there is obviously something they don't get, that Systems Engineers, and formal systems Engineering techniques are something that should never be dismissed or taken lightly:
