Responding to your request for a logical argument; though I agree greed is a real issue; if you make a definition of money which isn’t completely correct, and base an entire world economic theory on that, then the theory is surely flawed. Money isn’t just used to purchase human labour. It is also used to purchase energy, water, information, and matter of all kinds.
All of those things were created from energy, even the money itself, and if we all somehow died tomorrow, the energy carries on creating things without us, so human labour is optional, and independent of money.
The energy is the intrinsic thing of value, with that, all human labour can be replicated, by things which are not human, so money can exist without humans, and still be useful to whatever is left behind that might be intelligent, as a means of transferring value.
I could go on and say more, but not much point if you think bringing energy into the equation with money is not a logical argument?
