Reading this excellent article through again, a further suggestion I would make is to replace all occurrences of “Growth” throughout with “Profit seeking”.

This would then add some substance to the implication that the “Zero-sum” game is actually invalid.

I can see no reason uncontrolled growth is harmful if all of that growth adds value to the world, i.e. all growth can be very good, if we get rid of the obsession with profit.

Otherwise, the logical conclusion of despair beyond your article might imply some kind of cleansing is required to arrest or curtail growth, which would obviously be very bad, at least for some of humanity.
