Quick Comment On Starmer Decision To Increase UK “Defence” Spending.

Trump is demanding protection money, and Starmer is committing to pay it.

Do we need protection, after the US stops paying the Ukrainians to keep trying to fight an unwinnable war?

Think what Trump would do, if another gangster was to try to extract protection money from him —he would tell them to f*off.

Like any gangster, he will have zero respect for anyone giving in to demands for protection money, just like he would have no respect for Canada, Panama, or Greenland, if any of them had given in to his claims on their countries. Actually look, the Canadian Premier did agree to talk about that, putting it in the table, and look what happened to him — He got fired.

Starmer is in danger of making the same mistake, he’s rolling over for Trump, and that will get us nowhere.

Trump appears to be deliberately acting as devil’s advocate to expose weakness, and Starmer has reacted in exactly the wrong way.

What Starmer should have done, is nothing, until he actually has the meeting with Trump in the US.

He only had to wait a few days.
