Ps Des, I don't blame the individuals doing this, I blame the system of profit that pits everyone against everyone else, and all of nature. I think it is a natural human reaction, when faced with pressure on all sides to "Win", rather than lose, we are inclined to do whatever works for us personally.
Hence why my usual subject in Medium is the energy issue, which to me is at the root of all problems.
Fix that, the only way it can be fixed, by moving to mathematically positive energy, which brings with it very generous UBI, and the pressure is removed for everyone to compete.
To me we are rapidly approaching the point when this has to be realised and accepted.
The question is, how much more madness do we need to see, before it happens?
