Properly interpreting good data is obviously crucial, but it is also crucial to ensure the data is in correct context.
We should recognise that solar energy is distinctly different from all other kinds, since it is the only one which adds Joules to Earth, and therefore the only one that adds value to Earth.
As long as solar is simply bundled with other things called "Renewables", the combined data is meaningless.
