Preston, I am guessing you are invested in nuclear otherwise why be so doggedly supportive of it.

Solar builds up at no cost, none whatsoever, because all expense in investing in it is paid back by the energy received from it - for free, the sun asked nothing in return for that energy.

You think nuclear is the solution over that, maybe because you gave it the power of your investment.

But notice that the other effect of solar is to actually devalue all capital, including the money and time you might have invested in nuclear.

Its a gradual process, but one that does not reverse, its like the leaves growing on a tree, they have to grow for the tree to live.

So good luck to you, that you might think the energy value in the money you might invest in it will last long enough to make the seven years of development and energy outlays needed to even get to any energy out, and even then if you do get to that energy output, its just the start of all the planetary exploitation that has to happen to keep it running, pushing up the planetary temperature more and more.

Not sure why you see storage as a "Worry", its something you can do in your own house, like solar.

Can you do nuclear in your own house?

Its bizarre to me that anyone would see nuclear as simpler than storage.
