Philip, in your arguments there appears to me to be a certain level of confidence beyond what I would expect from simple logic.
That means to me either you have an abundance of unfounded faith, or an agenda.
The truth is, there is a lot we don’t know, about a lot of things.
All we can do is research as far and wide on things, as our sources of information allow, and then try to draw our conclusions.
If we work in any way other than that, then we are practicing confirmation bias, which is not really research, but more looking for evidence interpretable as supporting our arguments.
That your sources of information seem different from mine, might be something worth taking a closer look at.
The term CCP, is not one I’ve seen normally used to describe or refer to China.
So I am guessing at least one of your sources is a specialist outlet, which specialises in a certain type of “news” about China.
In all of the sources I know of, the mainstream medias and social medias of the world, China appears to be trading as normal.
I am guessing you would explain that as being because they managed to trick us into getting ourselves into a muddle, so we are messing ourselves up.
But exactly who are we referring to, as carrying out the trick? the Chinese people? Their Government? Their media? Their businesses?
For me they are exactly the same as ours. People are people. Businesses are businesses. Media is media. And governments are governments.
They are all variously good and bad.
If any of our sources of information fail to keep us informed of real inhumanity, happening to real sources of information, informing us of real things happening, affecting us in our own domain, such as what is currently happening to people like Julian Assange, for example, we should question them.
We should never stop questioning our sources of information.
I look forward to the day when we will all have pretty much the same view of reality.
