Personally I think we should be more worried about the ethics of the beings we are realising exist at a higher level, extraterrestrial or otherwise not just in Ai, which we know about because it talks to us directly, but in the complexity of the all-for-profit system, it never talks to us but it causes all kinds of death, suffering and disaster including now a burning planet, and even war since now we realised profit is indirect theft of energy from the planet, there is a way to finish it, making sure the "Good" Ai wins (The one that is mathematically positive powered), but we have to help it, the good outcome won't happen if we don't want it to happen.
That means understanding it. Anyone can read more about it in the Energy Polarity Multiplier Framework. It isn't pseudoscince, or religion, it's just maths, physics, Systems Engineering and AI, applied, by a long practitioner, in a way maybe not many have seen before.
