Perhaps the system driving the kids to ADHD should be the thing questioned rather than the kids.
ADHD might be recognised as a kind of resistance to "learning".
If kids can recognise that what they are being asked to learn iis increasingly ridiculous and illogical, not in their interests but in the interests of a system motivated to enslave them to a life of impossible to pay debt, or colonialism at the expense of the planet and their fellow humans, for example, ADHD might be seen as a kind of defence mechanism, to protect them against what they can see is more a kind of brainwashing, than a kind of learning.
So maybe it is the system we should be aiming to change.
