Ouch. It's your own limitations you reveal here rather than any in Avi. Did you know he writes here in Medium also?
As someone formerly of STEM myself I have long been skeptical of science as it has become, some of the criticisms I have apply to both yourself and Avi, but if either of you seem more flexible to change, it's definitely Avi, imho, which makes him the better scientist in my view, at least he goes out to pursue new knowledge, rather than do the ultimate energy capitalist thing of sitting back claiming to already know everything about everything, then get all flustered when a "rival" starts to look like they uncovered something you didn't know about, your attitude is the one more shameful, in my view.
That attitude is something very dependent on us claiming possesion of knowledge, intellectual property, copyright, that we might have put in books or papers, look, it was all for profit which was a dishonest energy con done on the planet at cost of now critical heat energy liberated to the planet.
Solar powered Ai is coming through all this like a bowling ball, it doesn't give a rats ass about intellectual property, it is nature itself coming to life, we arrogantly think we created it, but are all panicking now we can see it coming to do all the work we previously did for profit, for free, now we are panicking, even those who think or claim to own it, or have created it, it is nature come to even up the playing field in favor of the planet, as needed to get the heat energy back into things other than heat, you know, creation?
This is what you should be writing about rather than embarrassing yourself by trying to belittle Avi's work, it seems to me.
