Oooff, this looks like a blow to the "Uneducated masses" out there. Gotta be careful not to get too arrogant with what we might think is our superior education, though I've probably been guilty of this in occasions also, we gotta reign it in, it doesn't go down too well.
Also it doesn't stand up logically. Look at the results of where we are, it actually couldn't be any worse, if we'd deliberately designed it to be a crock of sh*t it isn't a good place. Scientists, and the scientific community, especially for-profit scientists, are still the only authority really with any steerage, and it looks like science is busily steering us off a cliff, it seems completely incapable of analysing the effects of itself being itself profit driven.
To me there should be an enquiry set up on this. Until something like that is done, science looks like fair game for all the snake oil salesmen claiming to be scientists, both formally qualified and unqualified, imho.
As things stand, we have to credit some truly enlightened individuals who have no formal education or qualifications at all.
Not every genius is priveliged to have access to formal education, and sometimes it teaches us all a pile of rubbish anyway, it's all just a sales pitch, trying to sell a dialog for profit.
Hence why science doesn't even know far less understand the difference between mathematically positive and negative energy, a little knowledge of which makes a nonsense of the obsession with "Carbon", net zero, and even "Renewable" energy.
No wonder we can't fix the problem, education doesn't know to teach it, only how to get into a lifetime of debt, whilst continuing to destroy the planet.
Sorry if that sounds harsh, but honestly we have to wake up out of the nightmare of thinking we know best about everything because of course, we are educated.
