Only philosophers try to prove impossibility.
Scientists know better, but themselves become philosophers when they too resort to trying to prove impossibility.
Believing impossibility can be proved, is not seeing how life works, it's continually disproving impossibility, reversing entropy, reducing temperature, not increasing it.
This is why "science" is not fixing the global energy problem, it's all for profit, which not only requires belief in impossible proofs, but belief in impossibility. Science becomes existential Enshittopia, when it resorts to philosophy.
