Oliver, thanks for posting, I find this subject pretty close to something really important also, it traces to outcomes which are very sinister.
For me, real cancellation has to be aided or abeted by some establishment or another, it is more than just disagreement amongst folks, it is when one or more establishments take a side in arguments often based on misinformation, using their authority to shut down the debate, removing the ability of a person or other organisation to defend themselves.
I personally find that anything arguing against the profit mindset is effectively automatically cancelled by the system, which is itself built to make profit ( practically everything currently ).
