Yes really, the war between good and evil. It exists in terms of energy, and is physically provable. Which side are you on?
Fifty years ago we had manned space travel to the moon, and supersonic commercial air flights.
Fifty years before that, we were in horses and carts.
Now we are struggling to keep even budget commercial flights in the air without the doors falling off, we might expect in another fifty years we will be back in horses and carts, despite the EVs etc, none of it looks sustainable, and you’d be right, it isn’t.
In fact we’ve just had the first consecutive 12 months running, of the highest temperatures ever recorded, which means we are in for some serious climate disaster.
Further, we have wars and genocide already breaking out all over the planet, and mass migration of more than 70 million refugees on the move, worldwide.
if you look, you’ll see it, though its mostly covered up by mainstream news, but it’s there if you look to see it.
Underlying it all is energy availability.
I mean the energy of all things, expressed in Joules or KWhrs, not just fossil fuels, its all expressible as energy, all traceable using techniques of MBSE, especially money, to show that this it’s our abuse of, and misunderstaning of energy that is impacting profitability, and actually to examine the role of profit itself, to show its an energy lie, that we always worked with, yet its a lie, now an existential lie that we were maybe once traumatised to accept, but now it has to end, before it ends us.
Which side are you on?
