Nuclear is just more profit driven extraction from the energy of Earth, all put here in the first place from the sun.
Everything else is either fuel, or another form of stored energy.
There is only one way out of this mess, and that is to follow the energy to where it comes from, and use it at source.
We are like a chicken in an egg, we just need to know how to peck our way out, rather than keeping looking for better ways to exhaust the yolk, or somehow use it more efficently.
When we monetise sunlight, we'll finally realise what we've been missing out on - abundance.
