Now we are almost saying the same thing Indi. This, in terms of energy, is what I've been writing about, all along. Taking the Joules from Earth, without putting them back, is the fundamental problem, our energy debt to our planet.
But I don't agree with you that there is no solution.
With respect, I am more qualified than you, as a Systems Engineer, to be able to say this solution exists.
Life is a battle with entropy, as you point out, life is the opposite of entropy.
But what you are saying, by saying there is no solution, in a way, just begs us to lie down and die.
That you can't see the solution, is one thing, but encouraging everyone else to not see it either, is almost a self fulfilling prophesy, if people believe you.
Why did 200 people starve themselves to death recently in an African death cult?
What I've described is the birth of our species from dependence on the energy of our mother host, to dependence on the energy of the environment of our mother host, the sun.
That state, we might see has infinitely more possibility than any our species experienced as an infant species dependent on the energy of our mother host.
What you are saying, more or less, is that this baby is going to die, right at the point of birth.
The scary thing is that what you are saying is seemingly validated, by the obvious popularity of the doomer argument.
