Now maybe you see what I am getting at, that is a good observation, Earth isn't a closed system.
True but it is a system, the temperature of which indicates more or less the "Success rate" of life, which is the thing trying to put as much energy from the sun to use as things other than heat, as it can.
We do exactly the opposite, we take stuff that nature put to use as things other than heat, and convert it to heat.
So we see rising temperature, surprise surorise.
This is the definition of destruction, we can't deny this is what we are doing, and it is systemically driven by profit.
Profit demands it, won't settle for anything else.
It's an energy con, which steals the energy from the planet.
