Notice all humans and all life has a tendency to create, which is reduction of temperature by definition, all by the energy of the sun, which does the opposite if not used, it heats.
So the solution is not to downsize or impede growth, the solution is to power it all by the energy of the sun, and do as much by that as we possibly can. This is what we fundamentalky need to do to drive the temperature back down.
If you could see this then maybe you would see it is the birth of something new, something creative, a valuable addition to nature, which actually looks like what was meant to happen all along, it does actually look like a grand plan, the fossil fuels and our consumption of those was maybe necessary to get to the technology needed to put the sun to use in harmony with all of nature using it.
To me it looks like not believing in life, because maybe not understanding creation, in every way, is a self fulfilling prophecy, it leads to death, ultimately death of the species.
