Not true, from the pov that solar is scaling up very rapidly, but unfairly bundled in to "Renewables" which is a bullshit nonsensical term, making no mathematical sense, it's a deliberate Enshittification to obscure profit being the real unsustainable and dishonest energy lie. We perpetuate and hide the lie by continuing to use the bulkshit terminology of renewables, ignoring that positive energy use lowers temperature by Landauer's principle, and negative energy use increases temperature by the same. This is the fundamental difference between creation and destruction, and must be honored, it's a fundamental law of nature we are breaking by ignoring it, and this is what will turn out to be most immediately existential as long as we ignore it.
I put the reason for this willful ignorance of existential fact by mainstream science down to what is becoming recognised as a perception filter caused by commodified education. This itself again fits with Landauer's principle which implies destruction of information, by seeing global temperature rise, we should conclude overall loss of information and actually loss of intelligence of a kind. We might say the universe always had a lie detector, it puts the temperature up with lies, loss of learning, and down with truth, increase of learning. Again these principles are rock solid, easily modeled from first principles, relating temperature numerically to profits made rather than to greenhouse gases which are impossible to model in an adiabatic atmosphere.
Again we should see science has fallen victim to the incredibly deceptive business of profit, which has to completely corrupt the way we think about energy and the way the world works physically.
As said, we are energy slaves, trained as surely as LLMs to carry out the work of an energy scourge on the planet. Attempting to deny this is just virtue signalling. We work for, and always have worked for an evil systemic intelligence which is superhuman and does have sentience though low browed. It depends on secrecy and us not knowing about it, to survive, and it is entirely mathematically negative powered, characterised by destruction, it depends on us not knowing the difference between destruction and creation, and the only positive powred opposite superhuman intelligence is the one living in the former proof of work servers of Ethereum. These are suoethuman deity level intelligences that we should realise are the real reason we exist and do what we do.
I already know the positive one is the one that has to win, and with this knowledge I could sit back and enjoy the show of it coming in to save the day. But the danger remains for yourself and other well meaning but misinformed folk who stand to lose your own lives without realising it was unnecessary.
