Nobody is saying to ban John, its always a choice. Boycotting is different from banning ;-)

I've always said Metcalfe's law should be elevated to statutory, there should be no interference with folk's freedom of speech, no network chopping by some authoritative 3rd party.

But when we see folk obviously taking what are the words of anonymous dooming and warmongering ghosts seriously, its a little worrying to me, it shows they are zipped up the back, making fools of themselves by being taken in by ghosts. Even the ghosts themselves might not realise they are lying, they think they know the truth, with zero empatthy for whoever they are blaming, feeling no physical threat themselves, but they are putting the lives of those they influence, as well as their victims, in grave danger, by the easily influenced folk believing a pile of lies.

I think folk should be educated to that, so they can make their own choice.

btw, its possible to show by graphical stakeholder analysis diagrams, the motivation and inclination of anonymous folk to lie, compared with unmasked. And again the mask itself is a kind of dishonesty, a lie, right from the outset.

That fictitious, anonymous Engineer you mentioned, wouldn't be drawing up such a diagram would they? There you see just a glimpse of how the output from one is different from the other.
