Myself and daughter celebrated my father’s 80th birthday on Easter Sunday with him and his partner.
They met about twenty years ago, by letter, writing to one another.
Everyone is happy that they met, and they are happiest of all.
Chances of something like that kicking off now, compared with the temptation of one or the other maybe gaining something by making the contents of a letter or two public, regardless of possible loss to the other, seem pretty slim now I think, at least in our Western world of all things business.
I think they have something we used to call “Romance”.
Pretty old fashioned, I guess!

As for me and my articles, I have a feeling that one way or another, I might not be on Medium much longer, Medium tends not to promote my main material very much, so I would be pleasantly surprised if you’d seen.
