No need to apologies Jed, I've got much thicker skin, (As well as some nasty spikes!) and appreciate you asking about B. If anything I am quite proud to have triggered a ban by B. If anything it exposes they know I could easily argue them down on anything technical because I am an Engineer, lived and breathed Engineering and science all my life, whereas they are obviously at best amateur, maybe with financial only background.
The one thing doomers want to do is preserve the status quo as long as possible, even if they die for it, it seems to me, they will be the ones sitting on significant capital, believing their stash will see them through what is clearly becoming a crisis, the rest of us are supposed to just lie down and die so we don't use up any resources they might use.
I hope and trust it is starting to become clearer to all of us, that what some folk claim they are, in the world of virtue signaling, turns out to be the opposite of what they actually are. B is no sorceror, and he/she is certainly not honest, not even to themselves, imho.
Further, an anonymous ID can just disappear tomorrow if it is found that something they said caused atrocity.
That is what riles me most about folk like B. They don't need to take responsibility for a single lie they tell.
Anyhow I did have a look at their article using a browser that doesn't try to log me into Medium. The good thing is it wasn't behind any paywall, I don't know if B set it up to be like that or not, we get a number of free reads if we look like new visitors to Medium.
What I would say about the article I saw is that B has now progressed to talking openly about folk they don't agree with, regardless of who they might be. There are many technical folk now looking at hydrogen and seeing its capability besides me.
How B used to play it, is to act all friendly with us, so as to not give away their whole motive, which now looks obviously to doom. Who knows how many real experts B might have banned, to ensure only pliant, sympathetic ears remain.
Their basic argument is correct, like I said, burning materials from Earth has to add to heat that wasn't here before. But B claims all hydrogen resources are the same, they do not seem to understand that things created purely from the energy of the sun do the opposite by being created from that energy, they cool, at any efficiency, E=MC applies in all cases, even if we only got 10% out as hydrogen, the heat lost is no more than the heating the energy of the sun would have done anyway, if neither we nor nature used it.
Also B claims hydrogen can't or won't be used for heavy transportation - it is already used in that application, driving trains in germany for example, and hydrogen has been tested no problem for use on aircraft and in aero engines.
The real reason it has been forever maligned is because pretty much all research on it has always been funded by oil money. Of course they don't want to cannibalise their existing business, so hydrogen research, especially on compression, has been deliberately knee capped, as far as I can tell, because the energy density vs weight of it is potentially 3.5 times times higher than fossil fuels, so actually it is so well suited to aviation, we could see the return of some real top class aircraft, like concorde, with hydrogen.
Anyhow sorry long reply I don't mean to "preach to the converted", but you are welcome to quote any or all of this to B, blaming me or otherwise :)
Btw an indication to me that hydrogen is a god-send, is how it converts to "Solein", potentially removing a large burden of human consumption from the conventional food-chain. Notice only possible with pure hydrogen, and when done from the sun, arguably we re-created the whole food chain of nature right there, our own equivalent of it. Then add that widespread use of it would clean and circulate both air and water, all of this cooling the earth, yada yada
