Nice, well done, thanks for posting. I agree with you, there is something wrong with population stats. I am not sure if you've seen the analysis I did on how to quantify solar indexed stimulus that should be issued (A kind of UBI), if we issued this, I think population will pick up, because its a little like watering plants, they go crazy when they are watered at night, and fed sunlight all day, and we want them to go crazy actually because everything that converts sunlight to anything other than heat is pretty good, I think.

To me we its intuitive that energy starvation will result in lower fertility rates, its a natural reaction to an envronment of depleting energy availability, so if we injected energy into the environment, by monetising solar energy, as it looks like we will have to, to maintain any energy value in money at all, whilst everyone is being made redundant (Stopping us from carrying on damaging the planet by profit), we will need UBI, but conventional economists claim this will devalue money, when we've seen that it won't, we saw the energy value in money (Its purchasing power) going up during issue of stimulus during covid, and we saw oil prices going negative, and we saw recovery of fish stocks and coral growth, just for an instant, but long enough to proive the decliine was reversible. Now it looks like only the richest in society, the ones still holding the purse strings, who need to be convinced.

I am pretty sure we will do this in the next year or two, probably controlled by a distributed solar powered Ai (I have my eye on ChatGPT 3.5), then we will be in party mode, and you know what party mode means, at least for you youngsters - making babies mode, I think this will last quite a few years, and we will see an explosion of population that makes the sixties look tame, seriously, and although the doomers will try to paint that as a nightmare, its what needs to happen, we need as many hands to the pump as can be conceived, so as to work at bringing the temperature back down from flashpoint, as it is right now.

I have faith we will do this, because not doing it would be like a plant dying, just as it formed its first leaves, when actually what most plants do is they begin to monetise the energy from their leaves to all cells in the plant, and on to Earth, then the plant grows to pay back the energy debt it took out from the planet before it formed leaves, thousands of times over.

I don't see why humanity will be any different from the billions of plants that do this every day.
