Nice. I hadn't heard of Zipf's law before, despite covering information and communications theory before during Electrical and electronics Engineering education and employment, we looked more at networks and channels, covering Metcalfe's law, Shannon's channel coding theorem etc, whereas Zipf's law looks more specific to the payload. I think I can see how they fit together, thanks for posting, very interesting.
