Nice crash course on how nuclear power works, but nothing on the economics.

It costs more to decommission to a truly safe state than any amount of money made selling the power from it.

For that reason, no nuclear power plant has ever been made safe.

There are places on the planet destined to be nuclear wastelands in the future, if nothing is done to stop it.

Where do you think all of the no longer used nuclear plants in ships are?

The only really safe way of disposing of them is to fire them at the sun, literally.

The only way we will ever be able to afford to do that, is to stop wasting time and energy building yet more of the nuclear pests, and start harvesting the free energy of the sun.

To do that, we have to get over the obsession with profit.

It starts with free money.
