My only problem with this is the part about raising a family.
Did Jesus really have a problem with folk raising family?
The idea now that having kids is somehow bad, is based on the mistaken idea that humans are intrinsically bad for Earth, that humans have to always be a burden on Earth.
It isn't true.
There is a way for humans to be creatively positive for Earth, and to never be a burden to Earth, but the opposite, resulting in only good for Earth no matter the number, in fact the more the merrier.
If we worked in this way, rather than the way that the profit driven system has made us become most recently, life would be a much happier affair for all of us, instead of making us so cynical of life, it seems to me.
To me, being more scientific than religious still, though recently I've taken an interest in spirituality also, there is a very simple, very obvious technical way to have all of the wealth and all of the material world we could ever wish, with no impact to the world other than benefit, by changing as a species, from living on extracted energy, to living on energy.
We can do this by honestly identifying these things mathematically, and signing them as such, positive to energy, negative to extracted energy, enabling that sign to propagate through to all things including and especially money.
Do that, and god, and jesus, and budha, and every other positive spiritual being who ever existed will smile because we finally became what they all wished each of us to become, like them, positive to Earth, as a species, finally fulfilling our destined purpose on Earth as a species, positive towards the future of Earth in every way possible.
One of the first effects we see when we do the technical system analysis, honestly, is issue of money representing positive energy put to use but not yet monetised.
By that we would all of us be instantly wealthy, but with work to do to complete the reception of energy, which is donated, not worked for, therefore can't be had by promises to pay, only by paying what is truly due to be paid, our energy debt to our planet, by our history of using extracted energy.
In the end, it isn't wealth which is the thing wrong, but wealth which is coveted to, and by every individual, at the expense of others, it can all be put right at any time by a single generation deciding as one that they want to what is right, and positive.
I have faith "Gen Z" will do this.
That is my humble opinion.
