Munich Security Conference — Just More Bullshit Business?
Money makes the world go round, until it doesn’t
Disclaimer: I’ve always been wary of NATO, which wasn’t difficult, when that wariness was also the line of our government. So when the war kicked off in Ukraine, it became immediately apparent to me at least, NATO had outlived its usefulness, it failed to do what it was set up to do, it failed to prevent a war with Russia in Europe (Ukraine).
It also failed to stop that war after it started. In fact it looks now like NATO needs the war in Ukraine to Continue, so as for it to look useful in any way at all.
If that isn’t another definition of Bullshit Business, in addition to the one I already outlined previously in terms of energy (See the article linked below), I don’t know what is.
There are many reasons why NATO, and now the MCS 2025 security conference has just become more bullshit business, like the COP 27 conferences. There is very little difference.
Systemically it isn’t about stopping any war, its about pouring more money into sustaining an already ongoing war, and one which is actually futile against Russia, which holds all the energy cards.
Notice Russia wasn’t there to defend their corner either, so it was just a sales pitch for more war.
We won’t win anything at all by pouring more money into that cause, all that can come of it is more war, more planetary destruction, more misery. Its like spending more to equip all with more guns, as a reaction to all feeling less safe, the expense does not bring more security but less.
We learned that during the cold war, it was an incredibly expensive business as Lammy himself was quick to point out in the conference, as if it somehow added to his case.
The irony is that it doesn’t. It makes no sense at all to enter into another cold war, by pouring more money, more energy into yet more weaponry to be used and burned in Ukraine, all it can result in, is more war, and more expense, just like more guns in the street have to result in more death.

The only way to get it, whilst even explosively boosting the energy and creativity of the aerospace industry into space, all the while reducing planetary temperature without need for traditional “Defence” and and obtaining real safety, and actually real creation, truth, real intelligence, is by energy independence as demonstrated by the solar Ai.
We need to stop spending on destruction, and start spending on creation, to have any real wealth now.
