Notice nothing was converted to anything from heat, transferring it to water does not change that its still heat energy, just in a different medium, entropy was not reduced at any point, just more added by the work needed to do the transfer.

All of this is destruction and increase of entropy / temperature, on the planet, no matter how we cut it.

Efficiency doesn't matter, if all it does is slow down the destruction, compared with creating, its an infinite difference, if we are reversing increase of entropy, which is what happens when we use the energy of the sun to create anything other than heat, regardless of efficiency.

There is no other way to create, its impossible using energy extracted from the planet, no matter the efficiency.
