Kelly, still no references from you. Everything you are saying just sounds like hypnotised potential investor sales pitch, without some solid references to back up what you are saying.

Trusting space research to VC funded companies like SpaceX isn't working.

Most of us who worked on government funded programs still have huge skepticism for what we are seeing by Space X. None of it proves anything. How much money do you think Space X has invested in radiation hardening, or anything else focused on safety / reliability, when show appeal has to take precedence every time?

Did you see the hype in the "Control rooms" of the ground launch crew, when the first Starship prototyp was finally launched, to go into a spectacular corkscrew before blowing up, after many false starts?

It was more like a movie set than a serious launch crew, everyone partying, than a serious ground launch operation.

All contrbutions to "Progress" made by Space X still look like nothing, compared to past achievents, like the space shuttle, etc. Space X are committing the ultimate sin, and obvious conflict of interest, by putting junk into space, claiming it to be useful because they got a load of investor funds to do it, but anyone capable of doing the technical systems analysis can see that ultimately, there is no case for a sustainable Starlink, it actually stands already as something making space almost uninhabitable. When the subsidies for it cease, that is what it will end up as.

Have you seen any detailed analyses of what went wrong on the Starship launch? Is anyone even looking?

VC investors are making a bigger mess of space and Earth than we've ever seen in history, in fact it is existential.

We are not going to fix that with yet more VC investment.
