Just remember, what goes around comes around (Yoruba), live by the sword, die by the sword (Christianity / santeria) . Getting busy killing, is getting busy dying. All human lives are valuable, all can be redeemed when the energy goes to positive.
So the thing to push, to stop the death and destruction, including death of the planet, for is to make the energy supply positive, like we have the tech to do now, but maybe not the generosity yet.
I don't think war will encourage much generosity.
