Just one problem that won't be got around by any amount of self fulfilling prophecy;
The planetary temperature is directly related to profits made, which in turn are dependent on the relative inequality.
The higher the inequality the greater the profits, and the more rapid the increase of planetary temperature.
So there is a physical consequence of living by deception, every deal done for profit, and it's happening right now, after thousands of years.
The universe even has a lie detector, we have even lab tested it.
