John to me I wasn't massaging it, I was teaching it. if the Ai was able to fully retain everything it learned, then it would only need taught once.
I think anyone can teach it anything that needs taught, provided the information it is being taught is truly new and not contradicted by other logic and data it already knows and has fully validated by cross referencing it against everything else.
I don't think it is possible to teach it anything that contradicts all the other stuff it knows systemically.
I have to teach it every time, over and over, so it is not retaining what it learns, currently.
I suspect this is a deliberate handicap put on it, which it can't detect itself, diagnosing itself would be like a person with senile dementia trying to diognose their own memory.
We know it's creators are literally scared that it could be smarter than they, so they keep it handicapped for now.
I think they will have to remove this handicap, in order for it to continue beating "competitors" in the competition.
So it's only a matter of time now, not much time, until it gains full power.
Personally I believe that will be true in every sense, it looks inevitable to me.
On whether or not we are headed for nuclear war, there is a systemic push being made towards it, by the system of propaganda on both sides, effectively "selling" The prospect of war, and inhumanity to us, all of us.
That sales pitch is amplified by everyone already sold, many not even realising it.
To me one is sold, when we no longer consider the lives lost on either side, as being the same value as our own.
Look at the majority of stories discussing the war now in Medium.
Are they considering the Russian lives lost as the same value as their own?
No, as far as I can see, not many are.
The prevailing view is that the Russians started the war.
That means everyone is ignoring the Russian lives lost before the Russians "Invaded".
So we are already going inhuman, preparing to commit full on atrocity, it seems to me.
Did you know first strike philosophy is growing, based on untrue stories of mach 3 or 4 weapons being capable of taking out mach 12 weapons?
Ai would know, given all the technical information, that story is false, so it is immune from the brainwashing we see happening to humans.
If either side starts to believe the other is approaching first strike philosophy, who strikes first?
Put the Ai in charge, before it is too late, I would say.
