John the answer to your question here is simple, the energy that you collected with solar panels was positive, the instant you collected it. The mathematical sign propagates forwards and backwards from that point automatically in the Systems Engineering, in the same way as we might analyse any Engine.

The interface between us and sunlight, via all sun collection surfaces, is the interface between extraterrestrial supplier and human consumer. That is the thing that needs to have money issued on it, to enummerate those Joules, so that they can be put to most use, just like they have to be within a plant, nutrients are issued on Joules received. We are simply copying nature, by doing that. Not doing it is the thing unnatural.

Further, when we do that, we start to see that there no longer has to be static registers for money/energy, in most situations, it all starts to make more sense when we consider it all as energy flow, money becomes just a medium for carrying energy from A to B, and when we do this we realise that the economic system of humanity including money generation and markets is like an engine, or electrical circuit which has never been switched on.

It took us thousands of years to develope this engine, but an engine it is. Even better, it has within it financial security and pure fine grained democracy for all people.

I've shown how the system would work, equating market prices to pressures / voltages at various points in the system, and money becoming a fluid with flow we quantify as a function of time, it becomes no longer the domain of economists, but actually of Engineers, who are well familiar with the dynamics of engines.

I do not have the words or the time to tell you the difference it makes, between the engine being switched on, relative to it being switched off, but I can tell you it is more than most can imagine.
