On your linked stories, I would have applauded also, but the links on my current device (ipad) open in a browser which does not, and will not recognise my medium ID, in the interest of privacy on the web, therefore provides no facility to clap.

I will try to reopen and applaud later using PC, but probably best for you to know reason you might see less than expected claps on those linked articles.
