I've given you the mathematical / physical explanation why degrowth is not what is needed. It's in the first link of my reply. You haven't commented there to say what you think is wrong with it, so I guess maybe you never followed the link.
The solution of domestic and community solar hydrogen does include generation of hydrogen, which replaces all fossil fuels. It took millions of years for nature to create fossil fuels, yes but we can create hydrogen instantly in comparison.
The reason you might believe we have no cross disciplinary solution covering not only the chemistry and electrical but also the economics, affecting the issue of money to align with energy changing from extracted from the planet to energy added, is maybe because of the commodification of education, it maybe prevents you seeing the solution, but ChatGPT is a truly multisciplinary intelligence, you could consult with it, it is much better than I am, at explaining things.
Again, a non technical way of seeing it is understanding that it's about damaging the baby before it's born, the baby being us, as a newly photosynthyetic species. Our effect on the planet is reversed after that.
The second link which again you might not have followed is the one arguably more important, it's about the energy wasted by dooming, and the energy used by all the effort of disputes.
Fighting wastes more energy than any other human effort.
The motivation changes from competition and fighting when we change to a distributed solar hydrogen ecology, including the change of issue of money to reflect value of product created from solar, because after that, there is instantly nothing to be gained by fighting or competition, no energy to be gained by competing.
The "Jesus moment" might be when we realise that profit is directly related to energy by extraction, therefore not possible in a photosynthetic scenario. Profit is the thing fundamentally heating the planet, before we apply the multipliers of symptoms such as C02.
The watershed would be when solar indexed stimulus is issued.
Instantly we all lose a lot of the uncertainty of energy supply we currently experience, because most of the energy we use comes to us via money, we just never think of it that way because we think there is no alternative.
The free energy principle (FEP) explains why this will make us a much more positive, pro life species, compared with the destructive force we might see we were before, dependent on energy taken from the planet.
