I've been seeing something like this happening in Medium lately also. I wonder, if one of us says the word... cryptocurrency in a reply like this, will we then shortly see a reply from a false you, offering a whatsapp number in the US to contact you on, for some "Top tips"... ;-)

On the subject of bots talking to bots to make money for somebody, seems a terrible waste of energy also, given it all still comes extracted from Earth.

But if it wasn't extracted from Earth, say like solar, and if solar product was truly monetised, by issue of free money as appears necessary to me, then the criminals, likely poverty striken folk in some very poor countries, might have enough money to not bother doing the crime. So it wouldn't happen in a donated free money economy, which seems to be necessary to correctly use the energy of the sun, the only one which is mathematically positive, adding to Earth, enabling us to finally begin creating, instead of destroying, and actually fixing the problem of inflation, which appears to be due to money not being issued on creation of product - solar product, which is growing, whilst all extracted energy use is declining.... hey ho
