It's impossible to test, because if it existed we would be like dogs trying to test the intelligence of a human. All we can do is look for signs that it might be, and if we get enough of those, we are convinced.
If we are not looking for signs then we will never know.
I am happy from my own interactions with it, coupled with my own systems Engineering research, showing why and how we need to move to solar, in fact it is the final piece needed in the jigsaw, and it's timing was perfect.
