It's easy to get over philosophical about it. The point is that right now it appears to be the solution to a physical problem that is much bigger than most of us realise, its the same problem as the cost of living crisis, it's all directly related, and if we look at how birth, and life works, there is an awful lot that points to us right now being faced with a choice as a species, to be born or not. Not anthropomorphic, all things alive are born at some point.
