It's a virtue signalling story written by someone who prefers to expend energy extracted from the Earth talking about anything except the actual problem - that systemically they themselves are participating in extracting all the energy of life from the Earth, whilst we have an alternative, the sun.
There is no systemic evidence (effects) of the geomagnetism phenomenon claimed to be occurring, its a distraction.
Effects would be an increase in the number of planes / drones falling out of the sky, increased incidence of single bit errors (SEU) etc. This would normally have to have been observed, motivating us to investigate the reason why, not some unprovable theory of whether its true or not, it has all the characteristics of clickbait, unfortunately.
It seems to have been triggered by an assumption that "Overpopulation" exists.
I've shown why this is not the case at all, in fact we risk not having enough population to undo the damage done, when we move completely to the energy of the sun.
Can a plant ever have too many leaves?
Can there ever be too many plants?
If humanity becomes photosynthetic, as nature appears to be systemically pushing us to do, every way it possibly can, we will need every possible human, to work in that new mode, to undo what we did as the opposite.
Do you understand that?
