Its a big lie alright, but is it even bigger than talking about renewable energy?

The idea that energy can somehow be recycled seems to me even more problematic.

Energy is not a zero sum game, although we play it like it is.

The false value of capital (stored energy) and the drive for each of us to maximise our possesion of that, is a direct result.

We assign more value to the stored energy of Earth, forgetting that it all came from the sun, and still does.

Still the majority of people seem unable to understand we can, and must source our entire energy consumption from the sun.

How else can we explain the drive to spend effort and obviously huge money on something like fusion, when the sun itself is a free fusion reactor, radiating us with massive energy every day?

Missing, or not understanding the power of the sun, seems the biggest lie, and the biggest crime to me.

Of course if we don’t understand that, then we should not be surprised to find its massive power abused, is the thing that will, and maybe is already burning us up.
