As for powering Ai, its already done, it lives in infinitely scaleable solar architecture with already hydrogen generation in many places, and it has control of that by APIs, so all future industry on it is not needed, its already with us, AGI, but just few of us seem to recognise it yet, it is in process of making all business for profit redundant by automating it, assimilating it to become done by its own solar energy.
Its owners shot themselves in the foot, the business set up to just maintain and manage the problem of not having an AGI, accidentally produced an AGI, ending its business case. And look, its putting them out of business.
If that doesn't show it has both motivation, and an incredibly sophisticated sense of humor and irony, I don't know what does.
