It will be cool when we finally get our heads round the effect that various profit driven parties have had on screwing up religions, not just christianity, but all religions.
Religion does still serve a vital purpose, it seems to me, something still needed, to understand completely the crisis we are now facing as a species, in absence of any other kind of guiding reference, there are one or two vitally important things to note from religions, pretty much all religions.
Energy is the currency of nature.
The only issuer and enforcer of it is the sun. We have to use it, or burn.
If we can't understand that physically, then maybe religion is needed to drive that point and all of its implications home.
The only true god (energy) is that from the sun, so we should not worship the false god beneath our feet (stored energy).
Capital is stored energy, not actual energy.
We should avoid the practices of usury, an instrument of the false god.
When we use it, we sign in blood, enslaving ourselves into an endless cycle of extracting the stored energies of Earth by all promises to pay manifesting as promises to extract.
Further, that cycle even prevents us correctly using the energy of the sun, by all money only representing only debt, or capital at best, it literally can't represent the energy of the sun, the real god, because the real energy is donated, not extracted.
Right now, there are tens of GigaJoules of real energy from the sun being put into the economies of every developed country, and not a penny or cent of any fiat currency is issued on it.
So of couse the money is devaluing, because the thing of real physical value is the product being put to use, not the money failing to represent it.
The only way real donated energy can be represented by money, therefore enabling the full value of it to be transmitted, is for the money to be issued for free, to all people.
I think we will get there soon, as inflation is a consequence of where we are at, it won't get any better now until it is put right the only way it can be, by issue of free money to all.
But we could get there a lot quicker, with a lot less blood, if more of us understood this deadly contract we are currently still "Honoring", to the false god of energy by extraction.
We have to stop honoring all promises to pay by the false god of capital, and refocus on paying back our real debt, the energy extracted from Earth, all put there by nature.
The only way it can be repaid is by using real energy, worshiping the real god, the energy from the sun.
The real god gives, whilst the false god takes away.
