It surprises me that so many people put any faith at all in their own media, when it has been exposed so often that they lie to us, all mainstream media, of every country lies to its people, especially to get us to support war.
We know this, it has been shown over and over.
So why do we think this time is any different?
Why do we even believe Putin is in charge, or that he has any kind of personal agenda at all?
All of that information is presented to us by our media, now with high confidence we won't hear any arguments to the contrary from foreign media, because they've pretty much been turned off to all who won't actually go seek it out. And we accept it, despite knowing that our own mainstream media are proven, consistent, war-mongering liars.
That is the thing I struggle to understand.
Mainstream media is public enemy number one, if we have any chance at all of avoiding the worst possible outcomes, we have to remember that.
A simple rule applies; if a story will make some money, by generating a following, it will be printed.
All of us are under pressure to keep making money, including mainstream media.
So all of us have to resort to more and more dubious practice, to keep making enough to survive.
Almost all industry, including government, and law and order, is becoming bullshit industry, if wasn't already, and the biggest bullshit industry thus harmful waste of energy is war.
All of that, is because energy itself, which money actually represents, is becoming scarce, at the most fundamental level.
The money means nothing without the energy to back it, and we see that with the obvious devaluing of money.
And all the while, more and more energy is being squandered on the war effort by all sides.
If we need any insight into which side will suffer less from the financial embargos going on, we need only consider who has the more energy resources.
Russia has the more fuel, but not necessarily greater access to energy, now we know fuel is not actually energy, it only contains a little energy.
So the solution for all sides is still the same.
In that we are united.
Fix that, and all the problems are fixed, by removing the underlying driver; shortage of energy.
We need to remove our dependence on fossil fuels, all countries.
The question I worry most about now, is at what point have we gone beyond having the power to even do that?
It doesn't help at all that mainstream media, if it even touches on the subject, will absolutely claim we are way beyond, because that is the story most likely to make the most money.
